Location Details
The World Islands are located 4 kilometers off the shore of Jumeirah, close to the Palm Jumeirah, between Burj Al Arab and Port Rashid.
The project will cover a total area of 9 kilometers in length and 6 kilometers in width, surrounded by an oval shaped breakwater.
Each island of The World will range from 250 to 900 thousand square feet in size, with 50 to 100 meters of water between each island.
There are approximately 70 flights per week from the UK to Dubai, with a flight time of approximately 7 hours.
Local climate
Dubai enjoys an arid subtropical climate, with blue skies and sunshine all year round.
